US Coast Guard Regulations

      Below is the first step to moving toward the US Coast Guard Authorization Act of 2010 for fishing vessels:

Starting October 16th all Commercial Fishing Vessels that operate beyond 3nm of the baseline will have to have a current safety decal to operate or risk a violation.  Key words for your information; the standards are based on EXISTING REGULATIONS in 46 C.F.R. Part 28, it does not implement the changes to the regulations…i.e., survival crafts and/or state register vessels.
