The Southern Shrimp Alliance is dedicated to its mission to ensure that U.S. shrimp fisheries remain the most sustainable in the world and the most sustainable source of shrimp to the U.S. seafood market. Through the Southern Shrimp Alliance’s leadership, the industry has consistently worked in partnership with Federal and State management authorities, the scientific and environmental communities, and other affected fisheries to ensure the health of the shrimp stocks and to reduce bycatch to the maximum extent practicable. Time and time again the Southern Shrimp Alliance has responded immediately and effectively to any and all concerns with the sustainability of the U.S. shrimp fisheries.
