Antidumping Litigation

Antidumping Litigation

In December 2003, the Southern Shrimp Alliance brought trade actions against dumped shrimp from six countries, resulting in antidumping duties. The resulting trade relief granted in 2005 stabilized the market. We continue to defend and manage antidumping duty orders on certain frozen warmwater shrimp from China, India, Thailand, and Vietnam to combat the sales of shrimp from these countries at prices below fair value.
